I watched Sinners right after watching Weapons, and comparetivly was quite a let down. Especially with how hyped this movie was

The score was great, I loved the cinematorgaphy and how much life they gave to the towns in the start. But I feel like this movie was quite predictable and with quite a simple premise and storyline. And when its not predictable, its because a character is doing something so stupid you couldn't belive it, which really brings it down for me and ruined my suspention of disbelief. I do think they did an amazing job with the editing of having Michel B jordan be 2 characters who interact with eachother throughout.
